Intern Edition from NPR is an intern-run multimedia newsmagazine. One of the hallmarks of NPR’s internship program, this semester-long project unites 40 interns across the country, from nearly every department at NPR, to report, edit, produce and design content.
The project culminates in a 30-minute multimedia show that premieres on the Web and at the NPR headquarters in Washington D.C. at the end of the internship term.
I worked on a team that conceived the program’s theme, “Beyond the Fold”, and created key messaging and branding. As creative director and designer, I was responsible for conceiving and executing all visuals, including the identity, a website, and marketing and promotional material for the event (posters, invitations, programs, etc).
